课前与研究主题有关的理论学习记载

阅读是现代社会中人们用来获取信息的重要手段,是读者主动接收信息并进行推理和评判的过程,是人的大脑和文本间的一种永不停息的相互作用过程,也是读者和作者不断进行意义协商的过程。Crawley 和Mountain应用布鲁姆的认知目标分类法,将阅读过程分为三个层次:字面阅读(literal reading),解释性阅读(interpretive reading)和评判性阅读(critical reading)。

就思维活动层次而言,“字面阅读”重在文本事实信息的获取,是对文本的浅层次理解;“解释性阅读”重在文本信息应用,是对文本的稍高层次的理解;“评判性阅读”是指对文本的高层次理解,包括释义和评价的技能,同时通过推理推导出符合逻辑的结论。因此,字面阅读、解释性阅读和评判性阅读构成阅读过程的整体,叁者相辅相成,循序渐进。阅读过程中读者的思维是一个由较低层次向较高层次发展的过程,较低级思维活动是较高级思维发展的基础,形成并发展较高级思维能力即评判性思维能力是阅读教学的重要目标。

在常规阅读教学中,教师通常会设计一系列的问题来处理文本,帮助学生理解文本信息,拓展文本内涵,发展深层思维。问题是学生在阅读过程中的思维工具,教师要关注学生的思维活动内容和层次,由浅入深,循序渐进。

课后评价活动记载

这节课,问题设计和教师引导都很精准,很好的为教学目标服务,基本体现了如何通过问题关注学生的思维活动内容和层次,其中围绕广告的活动设计也是该课的一个亮点,整体很不错。教师可以尝试从以下方面拓宽思路:如该课可以从阅读策略入手,引导学生阅读说明文;也可以着眼于表现手法,分析举例子等的典型说明方法。&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;——石蕴玉

整堂课内容充足、全面,但是有点面面俱到、重点不够突出:1、展示性、参阅性和评估性问题的时间分配过于平均,如展示性问题的时间略多而结构分析和评判部分给学生的讨论时间过少;2、活动的设计应充分为教学目标服务,有些活动设计和教学目标结合的不是很紧密,可以考虑减少。&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;&苍产蝉辫;——江凌云

    整节课问题设计环环相扣,但容量有点大,既讨论了什么是一个好的说明文,又讨论了什么是一个好的广告,主题不太鲜明。同时,最后的辩论题目如改为“Is it a perfect expository writing about advertisements”会更加严谨一些。                                              ——潘祎明                                                          

课后与研究主题有关的教学反思

    高中英语阅读教学中教师提的问题分为展示型问题、参阅型问题和评估型问题。本课的研究主题是“英语阅读教学中基于思维活动层次的问题设计”,在本次教学设计中,着重考虑了各种问题的设计,以问题为主线串联整个教学活动,层层推进,提升学生的思维活动层次和思维品质。但是,对于各种问题的分布还缺乏考虑,每种问题的时间过于平均,没有充分考虑不同问题对于学生思维活动的要求,导致整节课节奏单一,重难点不够突出。这说明,日后还需要对问题的设置作进一步的研究,更加理解问题之间的差异并把差异性体现到教学设计中,与学生的认知和思维发展达成一致。

Lead-in: Watch an advertisement from Thailand

T: Are you familiar with advertisements? Nowadays, we can find advertisements almost wherever we go. We are so used to them that we don’t even realize how many we see and how many we hear in a day. So today we are going to talk about advertisements. First of all, let’s watch an advertisement.

Step1: Read the whole passage for content

Q1: What are the two main types of advantages (ads)?

Q2: What’s the subject in para.3? Do you agree with the subtitle “Does an advertisement tell people the complete truth”? Why?

Q3: How many types of public service ads (PSAs) are mentioned here? 

Q4: What are the similarities and differences between the two types of advertisements?

T: Since we have learnt something about ads. Do you still remember the ad from Thailand? Is it a commercial ad or a PSA? Please add a slogan to it.

Ss: Group working and sharing…

Step2: Read for thinking and structure

T: Now let’s go deeper into the passage. Please read the para.3 and think about the question.

Q1: How does the author prove his idea that commercial ads do not tell you the complete truth?

Q2: What are the disadvantages of commercial ads?

    Increase the cost of products. 

    We feel annoyed to be interrupted when we are watching TV. 

    Give false or incorrect information. 

    Mislead customers or cheat them of money. 

    Make teenagers want things that are bad for them. 

    Unhealthy ads pollute culture.

Q3: Does the author advise us to boycott commercial ads? So there must be some advantages.
